Wow, it has been forever since I posted!!!!!  Life has a way of interfering :)  Have been dealing with some family issues (mom has been really ill and am going to be a 1st time gramma soon) and trying to paint paint paint to get ready for my holiday shows!!  LOTS of pics today....first is a couple of little tin pockets, painted with Plum Purdy designs...great for tucking a gift card into!!
A couple more tin pockets.....have to paint cats for my kitty lover friends :)
Santa on a tin pocket, more Renee Mullins...hard to see but lots of glitter on this :)
Cute little chicken ornies, pattern by Cyndi Combs.....something a little different for the christmas tree
Darling Santas....also a Cyndi Combs pattern....she is one odf my current fave designers
Dogs and kitties....these went quick!!  Have a couple set aside for a friend, but the others zoomed off the tree.....
More Cyndi Combs designs....this snowie is soooo sweet!!
 Never have enough Santas......
or Americana......this pot found a new home at the last show......
This scale was so much fun to paint....love how it turned out......
If it sits still in my house, it gets painted, including the softballs :)
 another softball.......
I started these tiny tin pockets last year, and finally got them finished!!!!
The pattern for this darling tin lunch bucket is by my dear friend Lisbeth Stull....she is soooo talented!!!
Simple board signs....rescued the wood from a friend's burn pile :)
 More signs.....
And more signs....I was asked if I stencil my signs, and the answer is no......I use stencils to trace on the design, but I hand-paint in the letters....much more time-consuming but I prefer the look of handpainted :)
Coffee signs are hot this year....this pattern is by Kim Klassen....done on recycled wood
More signs....designs for these by Kim Klassen, all done on recycled wood......
Cute little Halloween box, spider courtesy of my friend Helen Wyrich :)
Simple Halloween boxes.....design by Jan Coffey....
And one last sign, also a Kim Klassen design......

Have three more shows this year so I am still painting painting painting!!!!  If you are in the area, stop by and see us at the Spanaway Lake High School Holiday Craft Fair (first weekend in Nov), Holiday Hassle-Free Bazaar at the Renton Community Center (weekend before Thanksgiving) or Winterfest at Peninsula High School (Thanksgiving weekend)......all are all-handcraft shows so lots of goodies to choose from......

Thanks for stopping by!!

New for January

It's been a while since I posted anything new....been a very hectic couple of months!! First pic today is a cute little sampler from a Terrye French "Painting With Friends" pattern, and a couple of little memo boxes I painted up to match.
Next is another painted sampler....this on is an older Kim Klassen pattern, found in Create and Decorate magazine (my fave!!)
Third is another Terrye Friend PWF pattern (more about them later!!) done on a half-circle...I love anything Americana!!
Last pic is an adaptation of a Sue Allemand pattern from a few years ago.....very simple but an awesome sentiment.

Now for some good news.....I "applied" to be part of the Terrye French "Painting With Friends" pattern group and was accepted!! If you aren't familiar with the group, Terrye provides the line drawing pattern, and one of the "friends" paints it, developing the palette and painting directions. The patterns are listed as "Designed by Terrye French, painted by---", and are for sale on the Painting With Friends blog. I recently received my first pattern, a cute little group of bunnies......and am finding that it isn't as easy as it seems, but I am determined to get it right!! Will be posting the results once they are accepted by Terrye and her co-ordinator, Deb Antonick.

Hope to be updating my calendar in the next few days, it is woefully out of date!! Have a few tentative show plans (Country Chicks in May, Funky Junk Sisters in June) but nothing definite yet....hope to do at least one more summer or fall show, plus my usual holiday season shows.

Be sure and check us out on Facebook too, www.facebook.com/pages/PrimWorks.

Also, my dear friend Lisbeth Stull launched her website this weekend (www.lisbethstull.com) where she is selling some of her amazing decorative painting patterns. I especially love "Chef Boo"!! Check it out!!
