Just 17 days and counting til the Funky Junk Sisters Vintage Flea Market Show!!!!!
This is the flyer for the Operation Save A Rack fundraiser Friday night. It is going to be a fab party!! And for a very worthwhile cause. I have friends and family that have been affected by this awful disease and I encourage everyone to join us for this event.

It's been awhile since I posted anything.....have been painting like crazy and hunting for treasures, getting ready for the Funky Junk Sisters sale. Yikes, it is less than three weeks away!!!
These are a few new things I finished.....the candlesticks are a set I found, and just "primmed up" a bit. The USA sign is a pattern by Kim Klassen----you can never go wrong with Americana or sheep!! The Come and Sit sign may just find a home on my porch........
My daughter moved out recently, and I am going to convert her room to a dedicated painting room.....no more sharing space in the family room!! Now the challenge is just to make everything fit in there.....It will have to wait until after Funky Junk, then I can start the renovating!!
Looking forward to the Country Chicks show in Littlerock this weekend.....I'm playing hooky from work on Friday, so I can get there early and check out all the goodies!!
See you soon!!

A couple of new things I just finished. Both are garage sale finds that have been "repurposed"!! The swan is painted on a great old wooden bowl. The cake cover is something I picked up several years ago, but never got around to painting.......has a beautiful crystal cake plate to go with it.
Weather is supposed to be beautiful tomorrow so I will probably be out and about, searching for new treasures!!!Even though I have more stuff than I can possibly paint in a year, I can't resist the search for new goodies......some kind of obsession, I guess!!
The Funky Junk Sisters Vintage Flea Market is coming up in just over a month!!!! Yikes, I am sooooo far behind!!! But, I will be painting like a demon in the coming weeks to have plenty of goodies for sale. See you there!!
Back in a few days.

The pics for today are not really Easter-y, but cute none the less. The first is a fall design by Terrye French, a little crow and pumpkin. Second design is a little saltbox scene, taken from a pattern by my fave designer, Kim Klassen. Love the sentiment.
Back in a day or two!!
